Over the last number of years Silcotec Europe have developed their own Quality Operating System Model (QOS) for ensuring that continuous improvement is the norm within the company and is active in all aspects of our business. The model is based on the core values or our mission statement and quality policy which is centred on “meeting and exceeding our customers expectations.”
The Key Performance Indicators (KPI) have been developed within our manufacturing system, can be printed/displayed within seconds and are monitored weekly to reduce reaction time to potential problems. We use an internet based collaboration system to ensure that the KPI are visible at all our locations and that actions are monitored, reviewed and controlled. Central to the model is that the process is Management Driven however it is everyone’s responsibility to contribute to the continuous improvement cycle. |
